September 11 - October 20
Location: Ground Floor and Room 301, Murray Library
Curator: Neil Richards, Stevie Horn
In conjunction with 2014's USSU Pride Centre's Queerapalooza!, we highlight a few of the recent acquisitions, most of them donations, by the Neil Richards Collection of Sexual and Gender Diversity. This special non-circulating collection at the University Archives and Special Collections (Third Floor of the Murray Library) is a treasure trove of documents and artefacts relating to the history of gender and sexual minorities, and contains a broad range of contemporary and historical materials of LGBTQ interest. Everyone is welcome to examine and read these items in the Archives Reading Room. Read more...
This exhibit is also presented in conjunction with the book tour for new works by Sybil Lamb and Casey Plett. The tour is hitting the University of Saskatchewan campus on September 16th, at 5:00 pm in Murray Library, Room 102. Both authors will be present, along with special guest Trish Salah. Details about Sybil Lamb's book I've Got a Time Bomb and Casey Plett's A Safe Girl to Love can both be found on the Topside Press website.
