Location: Ground Floor and Room 301, Murray Library
Curator: Cheryl Avery, Patrick Hayes, Stevie Horn

In honour of our veterans and those serving in the armed forces, the University of Saskatchewan Archives and Special Collections has put together a small exhibit on the ground and third floors of the Murray library. Because it is the 100 year anniversary of the First World War, the cases on the first floor contain 349 poppies : one for each member of the University population who served in the Great War. The third floor shows material from the First World War as well, including portraits of two brothers who fought, a photo album, and an officers sword. This exhibit complements the RememberUS website, which contains over 400 digital items documenting the University's -- and Saskatchewan's-- involvement in the First World War. The website can be accessed at http://greatwar.usask.ca/
