Serenade: an exhibit of music in the archives

Visit the newest exhibit on display in the University Archives and Special Collections reading room.

University Archives and Special Collections has an extensive collection of music-related material, including sheet music, records and other audio, correspondence, and departmental records. Serenade is a small exhibit displaying just a sample of some of the interesting musical-related items in our holdings.

Items on display include some self-published works by Bob Fink, such as his opera Lysystrata and other sheet music he composed. There are also photographs and albums from the band Humphrey and the Dumptrucks, from the Michael Millar fonds. A display case dedicated to USask professors and composers David Kaplan and Murray Adaskin rounds out the exhibit.

Drop by the UASC reading room during our open hours to check it out.
