The goals of this project are to transform the collections, public and employee spaces and will include: 

• Secure and climate-controlled "vault" built to national preservation standards.
• Comfortable, well-lit reading room that can accomodate a variety of researcher needs.
• Commons area accessible when the library is open, but the UASC services are closed. This area will host rotating and semi-permanent exhibits highlighting our rich collections.
• Presentation room for classes to have access to special collection and archival materials for experiential learning. 
• Large employee work area to accommodate individual and collaborative work that is designed for flexibility for future needs.
