Building accessibility

All libraries are fully wheelchair accessible except for the Law Library. Library staff can help retrieve materials for you from the Law Library.

Murray Library

Assistive Technology Room in Murray Library G19
Assistive Technology Room in Murray Library

Room G19 on the ground floor of the Murray Library is the assistive technology room that includes two computer workstations with assistive technology software and hardware. Students registered with AES can book a computer workstation in this room.

G19 is always locked and is only accessible using a door code. AES students are provided with this code during their registration meeting or you can contact AES during regular office hours. Please ensure that you have the code before arriving at the library. Library staff cannot unlock this room. 

Murray Library also has two exam rooms available for AES students: room 334 in the South Wing and 261 in the North Wing. Exam accommodations, including the use of these exam rooms, are booked directly through AES.

Leslie and Irene Dubé Health Sciences Library

Assistive Technology Room in the Leslie and Irene Dubé Health Science Library.

Room 2440 is on the upper floor of the Health Sciences Library. It contains three work stations, ergonomic seating, a sofa, a drafting table, and a height adjustable table. Students registered with AES can book Room 2440 Health Sciences Library online.

This room is always locked and is only accessible using a door code. AES students may request the code by contacting AES during regular office hours. Please ensure you have the door code from AES before arriving at the library. Library staff cannot unlock this room. 

This space has priority as an examination space for Access and Equity Services. The room is unavailable for use when an exam is scheduled. A notice will be posted on the door during examinations to indicate the room is not available.
