Abstract:
Air activity over North Vietnam continued at the high level of the previous period. The preponderance of strikes continued to be against lines of communication (LOCs) and those against rail targets reached a new monthly high. Damage inflicted on transport equipment was significantly greater than in any previous month this year. Attacks were also made on jet supporting airfields, military barracks, electric power facilities, the Thai Nguyen Iron and Steel Combine, and POL storage sites.
