Abstract:
The air activity over North Vietnam continued at a high level during late April and early May. Although the preponderance of air strikes continued to be directed against lines of communication (LOCs), strikes against significant military and industrial targets increased. Three airfields which support jet aircraft, the Haiphong cement plant, four electric power plants, the Hanoi transformer station and major barracks, supply, repair and transportation targets within the Haiphong and Hanoi areas were struck.
