Major American raids from Thai bases again hit additional water and electrical facilities in the city of Hanoi. As a result, as of 18 June the water supply situation in Hanoi had deteriorated greatly. Water was irregular in supply and was often not of proper purity. Electricity was a condition amost as bad, with rationing still in effect and power breakdowns occuring.
