Abstract:
The latest unofficial returns in the presidential election, as compiled by the Special Commission for Administration, continue to show the Thieu-Ky ticket well in the lead, with Truong Dinh Dzu running second. With approximately 1.3 million votes counted -- 27% of those cast -- Thieu had 474,327 or 35%; Dzu 276,350 or 20%; Phan Khac Suu 120,368 or 9%; and Tran Van Huong, 114,608 or 8%.
