Abstract:
Rate of evacuation from Saigon is estimated at 6,000 per day via DAO flights from Tan Son Nhut airfield. It is believed that 1095 Americans are still in Vietnam. It is estimated that the evacuation could last until April 30 or May 3. The problem whether to maintain a US Embassy in Saigon under the coalition government is discussed. The problem of processing of refugees in Guam is also discussed.
