Aboriginal Musicians

The University of Saskatchewan Library established the Saskatchewan Music Collection in 1997.  Initially housed in Special Collections, it was transferred to the Education branch library in 2001.   The collection includes musical material written, performed, produced or recorded by individuals with a significant link to the province.  Researchers interested specifically in the First Nations and Métis music within that collection can search the “Saskatchewan music” link below.

The Library is also home to items created by musicians and producers outside of Saskatchewan: researchers interested in that material can search the “other musicians” link below.
