My role at the U of S is to support undergraduate students in their academic skills development within four main areas: cognitive (learning strategies), organizational/process (e.g., time management, goal-setting and motivation), non-cognitive (e.g., mindset and resilience), and metacognitive (knowledge of self and regulation of learning).  I grew up in small town Saskatchewan, completed my high school education in Saskatoon, and attended the U of S.  My appreciation of learning and education came early in my life through my family values and has continued through to today in my role at the U of S.
