During the spring and summer 2023 semesters, this collection is being renamed from the Aboriginal Education Collection to the Indigenous Education Collection as part of our efforts to decolonize our institution and make library spaces and collections safe and welcoming for all. This work includes changing signage, book labels, and records in our digital catalogue.

If you have questions about this project contact Maha Kumaran.

This collection includes resources in multiple formats including books, videos, sound recordings and Treaty Kits. We are actively adding materials to the collection focusing on current materials, earlier influential works, and books by Indigenous authors.

You can browse the Indigenous Education Collection online using the library catalogue or in person in the northwest corner of the Education and Music library. All materials in the collection are available to borrow using your USask library card.
