I hold a BA from the University of Lethbridge (1991) and an MLIS from the University of Alberta (1994). I began my academic librarian career at the University of Alberta in 1994. I have since held positions at Utah State University in Logan, Utah and University of Northern British Columbia in Prince George, BC prior to joining the University of Saskatchewan in 2008.
My professional practice and research focus is on academic library services and programming that supports student learning. I have a particular interest in informal, collaborative, and social learning and how that informs library services and learning spaces for students.
