Saskatchewan in the two world wars

Saskatchewan's role in and experience of the two world wars depicted through photographic and textual archival material.

Saskatchewan and the Two World Wars was a collaboration between many archives throughout Saskatchewan. It brings together photographic and textual archival material from each archival partner to provide a sample of the wealth of material the archives throughout Saskatchewan holds on this subject. This project documents the outbreak of the wars, the recruitment and enlistment of soldiers, training, the home front, as well as the veterans and memorials of both wars.

The site was created in 2001 and archived in 2020. It is not being updated and is not formatted for mobile browsers.
