The University Archives and Special Collections has recently uploaded the descriptions of over 457 photographs from the Huskies archives to our online database. This collection has photos from 1922-2002 for sports like cross country, basketball, fencing, soccer, football and more.
While the photos are not currently scanned and uploaded, these photograph descriptions will allow users to search by player's names, sport, and year to find photographs you might like to view. To search the photos follow this link to find the page in our MemorySask database. The click the "quick search" tab on the left and type in your search term. Names of players, sports, and years will work. A list of entries containing that search term will show up below the search box. Click on one of them, and it will bring up a full description of that photo. You can then send us the link to that page to request a copy of the photo.
We hope these newly uploaded descriptions will help researchers and sports fans find and access the many amazing photos of the USask sports teams, players, and coaches through the years.
