North Vietnam's efforts to expand and diversify its military and logistic capabilities continued unabated. Traffic movements were at high levels with observed watercraft activity apparently reaching record levels. Six straight days of flight activity south of the 20th parallel signaled an apparent end to the relative inactivity of MIG fighters during recent weeks.
